Latrika Boutique: A Tranquil Haven in the Heart of the City

Embracing Nature and Harmony

The Latrika Boutique showroom is a unique and peaceful haven set in the middle of a bustling urban center. The design team, led by Jenya Lykasova, opted for a combination of smooth wall surfaces and living masonry to create a serene atmosphere. The showroom is designed to evoke a sense of oneness with nature, inviting visitors to become part of something truly unique.

One of the standout features of the showroom is the clever use of lighting. A moon-shaped fixture hangs in the entranceway, illuminating the rails that house some of the brand's collections. This creates a mesmerizing night-time ambiance that adds to the overall experience. In the fitting room space, a sun-shaped fixture shines above the trees, casting a warm and inviting glow.

To further enhance the natural ambiance, a wooden platform with a mirror framed by greenery evokes a riverside atmosphere, helping visitors completely remove any thought of the frantic metropolis outside. Live plants, including strawberry plants and specially stabilized moss, are strategically placed throughout the showroom, creating a connection to nature and adding a touch of tranquility.

The realization of this design required careful consideration of technical aspects. A specialized lighting and irrigation system was installed to ensure the well-being of the live plants. Given the age of the building, a thorough floor load calculation was carried out to ensure the structural integrity of the space.

The Latrika Boutique showroom spans 120 square meters with a ceiling height of 3600 mm. The project started in March 2021 and was completed in May 2021, showcasing the efficiency and dedication of the design team.

Jenya Lykasova's design for Latrika Boutique has received well-deserved recognition. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2022 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the outstanding creativity and ingenuity of the design, which authentically captures the brand's essence and provides a unique and serene shopping experience.
